The artist's that were used as inspiration for the photos in this project are Bill Viola and Krystin Brown. Bill Viola's work is in a series called The Dreamer, which depicts individuals of all different races, ages, and genders floating underwater as sounds of water moving plays in the background and the picture moves as if the person is floating in water. The inspired pictured titled And Now I see, does not move or have water sounds but depicts an individual coming to the surface of the water as their eye shine from the water that is still washed in the pockets where the eys rest. The Second work is inspired from Krystin Brown's Images in her series called The Saints Project. Ms. Brown depicts Catholics saints especially the Blessed Virgin Mary by using vibrant color and photo editing to make the image look like it is a classical painted art piece. The saint images are supposed to evoke a mystic experience between the viewer and the saint. The Inspired image Lady Guadalupe, is a modern depiction of the blessed Virgin Lady Guadalupe as she holds roses and pierces ones soul with a look of warmth and understanding.

Smoke and Water
The fast food industry has taken over! This picture addresses the social issue of pollution and the contributions to the problem from the fast food industry. There is an uproar in society about "making the world a better place," but there still is a significant amount of people eating fast-food and big corporation industries that leave waste to the world. This picture shows a frozen dead fish, trash, and contents of the ecosystem of the lake itself. this cup is placed in the city to show the trash that lays waste among the footsteps of many. The picture is also supposed to bring all of the aspect of the pollution issue in one shot. The picture shows the death of wild life, the influences of air pollution, and the urban environment that invokes and consumes the poison in the world.
Fish out of Water
This picture is to show all of the aspect of the water pollution problem. In the foreground lies the frozen block that is in the shape of a fast food cup, as trash, dead fish, and bits of the fish's ecosystem lie inside. There is lake Michigan mediating the rocks in the foreground and the Manitowoc city background. The dead fish is the main focal point and lies in the middle of the picture to show that they are the pray to human neglect and care.
Hungering for More
This picture is to show the inner hungers of the soul. How the physically rich people in society hunger to be at peace with the simple aspects in life which the poor people know well. In order to get this picture a dinner was held where the poor individual was fed a lavished dinner of salmon, peppered potatoes, and steamed broccoli. The rich individuals where in fancy garb and were fed garbage from left over food thrown in the garbage a couple of hours before the photo was taken. The rich individuals and the poor person ate together. The rich individuals are reaching for the food the poor person has, an inner depiction of the reaching of their souls.
